Wednesday mid-day update
Ashlie is doing about as well as expected at this point. Her kidneys are not getting any worse which is the goal so continue to pray for her kidney function to remain stable. Please continue to pray for Blue Cross Blue Shield to approve the transplant. We should know more about this status later today or tomorrow, but there are some wonderful people here fighting to get it approved and a meeting between some of Ashlie's doctors and the medical directors from BCBS at 2pm today. Thanks to all those who have offered contacts and information. I will update again later today.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for continuing to give us all regular updates! I appreciate being able to keep up-to-date on how Ashlie is doing! Give her our love! Emily Patridge and I sent her a little care package through the mail last night just to have something different than all the flowers that I'm sure her room is covered with! So tell her to keep an eye out for some laughter and fun in a box that's on its way! We all continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers! Thanks for keeping us posted!
